Located in NGC 7000 (North American Nebula) the Cygnus Wall is an area of dense Hydrogen gas where new stars are formed! The "empty space" in the upper right is actually L935, a dense cloud of gas and dust. L935 sits between us and NGC7000 blocking the light emitted by the Nebula giving us the illusion of a void.
Somehow I ended up with just over 60 hours of data shot between 2024 and 2025. Using a dedicated mono astrophotography camera and narrowband filters I barely had to adjust the image at all due to the large amount of data I collected. There is so much detail and depth in this one.
