The North American Nebula and pelican Nebula were the first Deep space targets I ever shot! 2 years later I can definitely say there has been some progress!
Located in Cygnus they are actually part of the same star forming gas cloud, the dark space in the middle is actually very dense gas that is actually closer to us and blocks the light emitted by the Nebula.
Shot with my color Astro camera using dual and filters with about 23 hours of data.
